Blog Entry30D Body for Sale, Test shot - Pops FernandezFeb 21, '08 9:26 PM
for everyone

Canon EOS 30D Body only.

Purchased last April 2006 in HK, Shutter count of 112,000.  In very good working condition.  No scratch to screen or sensor.  Just had the sensor cleaned last week in preparation for sale.

Why am i selling?  Already have the 40D and would like to have a light, smaller unit to bring when travelling.  I am looking to buy or trade body to 400D.  Have used the 400D and is just right for me in travels and will match nicely with my incoming IR converted camera body.  The 30D is good, just a bit heavy for my wife and kids when they borrow the camera.

If your coming from 350D, the 30D will allow you to achieve much faster shooting and more accurate shots.  You will also be able to shoot in near darkness and avoid the awkward situation of your subjects waiting for you to push the shutter and your oncam flash from repeatedly firing in order to get a focus.

If your coming from 400D, the 30D will allow you to catch moving action and models on ramp.  30D battery last 3x longer, shutter release is faster and fps is higher at 5fps vs. 3.0 or 3.5x.  If you using an L lens or 580 flash, the 30D will allow better balance of weight.  Dual rotation and dedicated switches also instant access to settings and quick adjustments.

30D body only with all accessories complete. Box included. Negotiable, 33T.

First shots of the camera are posted here: http://konradphoto.multiply.com/photos/album/22/Easter_Balls_up_close

you're looking a second 400D?
konradphoto wrote on Feb 22
i miss my 400D. small and handy. my current 400D is on way back from conversion to dedicated IR.
hochi wrote on Feb 23
ah ok.

i'm also going to convert one into ir - either second hand 400d or even brand new 350d

did you do it with lifepixel?
konradphoto wrote on Feb 23
yes. lifepixel is the company. Great, we two IR. so that makes us 2R.

Selling the 30D body for only 30T now (just found out that the 400D is going for a much lower price in gray market). So i think i will sell the body and get myself a new 400D.

I'm now using 400D.. It's quite useful camera.. I wish I could buy 5D. :) You're right 400D is much better because it's smallest hehe
