Selected shots of the fashion show at Shangri-la Makati last Feb 29, 2008. Friday. Post a few to get it moving before i suddenly archive everything... this will remind me to keep sorting the photos.
Canon 70-200 f2.8L IS with monopod, had the flash mounted and ready but not needed as the lighting was good (thanks Robbie!). ISO 800 at start, later ISO 400.
Lenard mentioned that he liked the photos with the brand included, good idea! Tried out a few more shots if could do it consistently (regular chamba.... ). Hope you like them.
Mark - Thanks for the compliment. Ah, i think you would not have liked the location for the video... quite far, around 10 meters away from the edge of the stage.
this has nice framing and composition as well! the two model seems to be in two different photos... it is hard to do shots like this, timing is really a difficult factor to consider but it seems na chicken lang sau sir KO!
Lennard James - Tormentor Boy - Tsamba.... one good one out of the 3 shots i took of this pose... the AF was trying to decide if i was really shooting for on off center subject. I think only one or 3 dots were hitting the subject, eh, naka AF Servo pa.... like the camera was asking... where's the rest of the subject. Good thing it came out decent. Thank you for ur kind words.
When i saw the position, it was like..... burst, burst... hope its good. I think the shot was possible due to the fast pacing of the models. A 2nd model would come out before the current one was finished. At the start i was complaining to myself.... the 2nd model is getting in the way... then remembered that Jesus shot the fashion show from were he stood last year Fashion Week, he just made it work.
